Mary White (she/her/hers) Sound Designer and Theatre Artist. Born in Wichita, Kansas I grew up in a largely musical family. From listening to my parent's vinyls, to playing multiple musical instruments. I began performing at a young age, and in high school I turned my focus to the technical side. I worked 2 summers as an apprentice and then 1 summer as an intern at Music Theatre of Wichita. 

 

I graduated from Wichita State University with a BFA in Technical Theatre with an Emphasis in Sound Design. While there, I received an Achievement in Sound Design Award for A Hedda Gabler by Nigel O'Hearn, at The Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival Region V. I also attended Graduate School at Boston University. I have worked in different parts of the country, and have a passion for storytelling using both audio and music.
